HONG KONG 13 May 2005 - Magna Industrial Co. Limited today launches a new series of industrial polymer adhesives under the brand name of EpXylon. The curtain is unveiled by its first new product - EpXylon 9601 Qwik Bond. EpXylon 9601 Qwik Bond is formulated with the most advanced polymer and adhesive technology to provide a truly versatile and speedy bonding partner for maintenance professionals.

EpXylon 9601 Qwik Bond is a rapid-hardening fluid 2-part thermosetting polymer designed for emergency repair and bonding jobs. With its superior dielectric strength and electrical insulation properties, EpXylon 9601 is an excellent choice for potting and encapsulating electronic parts and components. It commands wide range of applications in consumer electronics and OEM products. "EpXylon's engineered polymer adhesives are thermosetting resins that solidify by polymerization and, once set, will not melt on heating. Similar technology has been used on other structural & industrial adhesives," said Dr. Ricky Ho, Director, Technical Services, Magna Industrial.

EpXylon 9601 Qwik Bond ideally bonds metals, plastics, glass, fabric, ceramics, wood and concrete in versatile environments. Its outstanding solvent & contamination resistance and ability to withstand severe thermal and mechanical stresses give highly resilient bonding effect and truly reliable coating to substrates. EpXylon polymer adhesives offer high mechanical strengths, and can be modified to meet a variety of bonding needs. Bonds made by these adhesives are rigid with minimal shrinkage for filling small gaps successfully.
